Happy Valentine’s Day!!
Love Day / Valentine’s Day shouldn’t be just about boxes of chocolates, balloons, expensive dinners etc etc. Nothing wrong with all that, I’m not putting any of that stuff down, I would never do such a thing because those are all things I love. What woman doesn’t?!!!! We love all that mushy, sometimes corny stuff! At one time I looked forward to it! If you’re indulging in stuff like that tonight by all means do your thang gurrrlll. GET IT!!!! 😜
I guess what I’m trying to say is for some of us Valentine’s is a little different. For us it means being thankful to spend another holiday with the person we love. A romantical evening consists of simply sitting or laying besides the person you love, holding their hand, thankful to be breathing the same air as them and telling them you love them. Today I write this post from the hospital and although it isn’t exactly where anyone wants to be, either today or any day I’m thankful to be here with him. This is our “love day” and I’m ok with that!
