Hello beauties! Hope everyone is well. I won't even get into how I've slacked with this whole blogging thing. I've apologized in the past and yet I continue to slack so I'll just save it.

I'm writing today because I've discovered something new and I wanted to share it with you all. DRY SKIN BRUSHING! I've heard of it but I never cared to really look into it until recently. The benefits (from what I've read) are amazing. I usually use a wash clothe or a brush when I bathe so I didn't think there was actually a difference when doing it dry.

Here are some of the benefits:
HELPS Digestion.
REMOVES Cellulite (putting this to the test BUT I've read you need to dry brush for at least 5 months to see results).
STIMULATES Circulation.
INCREASES Cell Renewal.
CLEANS Lymphatic System.
REMOVES Dead Skin Layers.
STRENGTHENS Immune System.
IMPROVES Exchange between Cells.
STIMULATES the Glands, thus helping ALL of the
Body Systems to perform at PEAK EFFICIENCY!

I've read that some spas and cancer treatment centers incorporate dry brushing with their treatments because of its benefits. Pretty cool huh!

Now there's a way to do it. You're supposed to use a brush with natural bristles. It's less abrasive than the nylon kind. You start at the sole of your feet working your way up towards your heart. So brush upwards when brushing from the bottom up and brush down when...well you get the point - right? When you get to your belly brush counter clock wise.

I've incorporated dry brushing into my daily regime. My niece (Natasha) comes to mind. She has seen me get ready and she thinks I do way too much when getting ready. Well baby girl if you read this then yes I'm adding one more thing to my daily routine. This means I'll take even longer when getting ready :-p - HA. Its not easy taking care of YOU. It's a process that will be worth it as you get older. Anywho, I've been doing it EVERY morning before my shower. I vigorously brush my thighs and buttocks while watching TV (I'm secretly hoping for a miracle for my cellulite). I even brush my hubby. He loves it lol but he's not fully aware of its benefits. Have I noticed a difference? Well it may be too soon but my skin feels much softer, it feels good - to me at least. I feel somewhat itchy afterwards so I know my skin cells are doing something.

Before you begin dry brushing definitely do your research. I'm no expert on this and there's a ton of info out there. If you try it let me know and tell me what you think / what benefits you've seen.

As usual thank you for taking the time to read my blog.
